Indian fire fighters rescue a cow stuck in a drainage ditch, that then runs off with their ropes
Some kind-hearted fire fighters rescued a cow from a drainage ditch in South India on 27 November.
The men used ropes attached to the animal's horns to pull it out, after which the beast jumped to its feet and ran off, trailing the rope behind it as it did so.
The men, unable to chase after it at such speed, had to wander the neighbourhood to find it and get their ropes back.
The incident happened in Karaikudi, Sivagangai district, Tamil Nadu.
