Six cows rescued from slurry pit in China
A dramatic video has emerged from China of the moment firefighters were forced to wade into a farm's slurry pit to rescue six cows that had become trapped.
In the footage, filmed during the three-hour long rescue in Shandong Province last week, the emergency crews can be seen struggling to pull the heavy animals free in the confined space.
According to local reports the six cows, each weighing in at hundreds of kilos, fell through the cover of the pit after their weight caused it to collapse.
