Footage shows Russian artillery units destroying a Ukrainian stronghold with long-rangehowitzers.

The artillery unit of the 29th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military District demolished the Ukrainian soldiers in the Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine, on January 18.

Russian soldiers attacked their enemies by using 152-millimetre 2A65 Msta-Bhowitzers after they previously located them and targeted their positions.

Russia's Ministry of Defense said in a statement: 'The 152-millimetre artillery systematically eradicated Ukrainian strongholds, fortifications, and armored vehicles.

'With pinpoint accuracy, they neutralised artillery and mortar batteries, delivering powerful blows to the enemy from both concealed and direct firing positions ,with an impressive firing range of up to thirty kilometres.

'The artillery's precision is enhanced through drone-assisted target designation and fire correction, showcasing the seamless integration of technology in military operations.'
