A speeding car crashed into a toll booth, killing 1 in eastern China.

Dramatic CCTV footage was filmed in Shanghai on February 21. A car speeding into a toll booth, resulting in severe damage to both the vehicle and the booth.

According to the Pudong police, Mr. Xu, 68, was driving at excessive speed when he collided with the toll island. The accident resulted in the death of his wife, who was seated in the back of the car.

Mr. Xu, after receiving medical treatment, is currently not in critical condition. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident, with suspicions of drunk or drugged driving already ruled out.
