Fatal fire incident claims one life, injures three in western India

In western India’s Maharashtra, a devastating fire outbreak has resulted in one fatality and left three individuals injured.

The incident took place at Azad Nagar slum in Bhayandar East area of Mumbai on February 28.

Visuals showed a ferocious inferno raged in the midst of the slum area, its flames dancing wildly and billowing thick, black smoke into the air. The scene was chaotic, with panic and chaos evident as people scrambled to escape the engulfing blaze.

According to reports, a massive fire broke out in a slum in the Mira-Bhayander area of Mumbai today. The Azad Nagar slum in Bhayandar East has caught fire. The fire is so fierce, the plumes of smoke from the fire have spread for several kilometers. A fire suddenly broke out in the slum around five o'clock in the morning today. The fire is still not under control.

According to the information received, one person has died in this incident of fire. The name of the deceased is Deepak Chaurasia. A small boy has been severely injured in this. So, many people have been injured in the fire.

Many huts and godowns have been burnt down in this terrible fire. It has come to light that the burnt area is reserved for social forestry and ground and all constructions in this area are unauthorized. Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Katkar and other officials, Deputy Commissioner of Police have reached the spot.

The cause of the fire is still unclear. On getting information about the incident, the fire brigade officials rushed to the spot and started controlling the fire. However, the fire is spreading further due to the plastic items in the area.

Efforts are currently being made by the fire brigade to bring the fire under control. However, the fire has not yet been brought under control.
According to Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Katkar, one firefighter was injured while extinguishing the fire. Fire extinguishers have been ordered from Mumbai, Thane and Vasai Municipal Corporation, which shows the ferocity of the fire.

A total of 24 fire tenders are working to extinguish the fire. Efforts are being made by the fire brigade.
