An out-of-control car split in two after colliding with a road sign in central China.

Dramatic CCTV footage filmed in Kaifeng City in Henan Province on March 21 shows an out-of-control car speeding into a roadside barrier on the left side of a road.

The impact was severe, causing the car to split in two instantly. Video from the scene shows the front of the car separated from the rest, with the body of the vehicle entangled around a utility pole, rendering it completely wrecked.

According to eyewitnesses, there was only the driver inside the car. Fortunately, the driver appeared to have sustained minor injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.

Currently, authorities are investigating the exact cause of the accident.

据目击者称，车内只有涉事司机一人，幸运的是他看起来伤势并不严重，随后已被送往医院救治。
