Shocking CCTV footage captures out-of-control SUV smashing into home yard
An out-of-control SUV smashed into the yard of a home in northern China.
The dramatic CCTV footage was filmed in Tongliao City in Inner Mongolia on December 11.
A white SUV suddenly spiralled out of control, crashing through the fence of a residential house and storming into the yard.
The daughter of the homeowner recounted the harrowing moment, revealing that, fortunately, no one was in the yard at the time as the entire family was inside the house, which left them all in shock.
The driver, who suffered a broken nose, was pulled out of the vehicle by the homeowner's parents and was later taken to the hospital where it was confirmed that there were no serious injuries.
According to reports, the SUV slid and lost control after running over the accumulated snow.
The impact of the crash completely demolished one side of the yard's fence, but luckily, the house itself remained undamaged. The driver agreed to repair the broken fence.
The following day, the local traffic police responded to the incident, attributing the cause to improper handling by the driver, leading to the loss of vehicle control.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
