Weather warnings have been issued in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj and Agra as the areas were hit with scorching 41 degree Celsius heat.

From the month of April itself the heat starts showing its true colours. After the first weeks of April, Prayagraj and Agra were the hottest districts in UP and the weather department has issued a warning of further heat, while the health department has alerted people to go out only when it is necessary.

People who are going out of their houses are covering their faces and heads for protection and are drinking cold things at various places and keeping themselves cool.

Alok, a student, told that he carries electrolyte with him and wherever he feels thirsty, he drinks it by mixing it in water. Currently the heat will increase further and the railways have also geared up; several organisations have started working to ensure that passengers do not need any kind of water.
