A truck driver stopped in the middle of a road to catch a giant fish from the flooded street in southern China.

The funny dashcam video was filmed in Gao'an City in Jiangxi Province on April 16.

A motorist named Zheng described the water as quite deep, with his vehicle's sensors continuously alerting.

Initially assuming the driver was clearing debris, Zheng was surprised to see a fish being pulled out.

This incident followed a night of stormy weather starting on 15 April, with Jiangxi experiencing a new round of heavy rain and strong winds.

The Jiangxi Meteorological Bureau reported on April 19 that the severe weather since the beginning of the month has resulted in three fatalities and three injuries.
