Climate terrorists target MP's office in Workington
Climate terrorists targeted MP Mark Jenkinson's office in Workington, UK.
Footage shows supporters of the 'Just Stop Oil' movement staging a protest and glueing anti-coal posters saying 'Stop Tory Coal' in bold letters on the walls of the MP's office in Maryport, Cumbria, on April 26.
The posters reportedly also had words like 'Mark Jenkinson is telling giant porkies about coal & jobs' and' PEOPLE vs COAL,' which they said was aimed at drawing attention to Jenkinson's support for the Cumbrian Coal mine, a project that has sparked controversy due to its environmental concerns.
As the protest unfolded, a group of around five more supporters joined in, adorning the scene with 'Crime Scene' tape.
Mark Jenkinson arrived at 8:15 am and engaged in discussions with the protesters with police officers from Cumbria Constabulary also present.
Among the protesters was Alison Parker, a constituent of Jenkinson's. Parker expressed concerns over the coal mine's environmental impact and questioned its purported benefits to the local community.
The protesters said they presented an open letter outlining their grievances against Jenkinson's stance on fossil fuel projects, calling for his accountability under international law. Colin Benton, another protester, voiced frustration 'over what he perceives as Jenkinson's prioritization of personal interests over community welfare.'
Followers of the climate agenda have resorted to increasingly aggressive public attacks in recent years - often using violence and intimidation to cause chaos on roads, at events and in art galleries.
The Oxford Languages dictionary defines a terrorist as 'a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims'.
