Storms and Gales in Cornwall
High winds hit the south coast of Cornwall today, bringing with them heavy rainfall, water lying on roads and stormy seas, with waves up to ten feet battering exposed towns and harbours such as Porthleven. Families and photographers were out watching the gales hit , as were the council, trying to clean up the seaweed thrown over the promenade in Penzance.
