October 7, 2018 after dusk, minutes after 8PM, bright and intense northern lights filled the skies over eastern Iceland . It was near Starmýri 2a cottages along ringroad 1 under perfect clear skies. Filmed in realtime at 25 fps in realtime with a Sony a7s mark II and a Rokinon lens 24mm f/1.4 . Many tourists may have missed it as it happened rather early in the night when dinner is being served in tourist hotels . My advice : DBS ! Dine Before Sunset ! ;-)
