The tail end of the "Firefall" at Horsetail Fall in Yosemite National Park
I shot this video on February 11th, 2017 after shooting several stills. By this time, the falls took on a pinkish color.Shot at 600mm.Around the second week of February, the setting sun hits Horsetail Fall at just the right angle to illuminate the upper reaches of the waterfall. And when conditions are perfect, Horsetail Fall glows orange and red at sunset.California has received a LOT of rain recently and the falls are flowing nice and strong
