Urswick Rushbearing Procession
Despite strong winds and heavy rain, residents of the village of Urswick perform the traditional Rushbearing procession. This ancient Lake District tradition -- discontinued in 1837, but revived in the early 1900s -- has now continued without interruption for 107 years.
