Meanwhile in rural England. World Worm Charming Championships
Scores of people competed on Saturday in the UK to lure worms from the ground in a bizarre event called The World Worm Charming Championships.
Teams have 30 minutes to coax as many worms as possible to the surface of a 3 x 3-metre plot of land in Willaston, Cheshire.
This year hard ground made for tough conditions with the winner managing to charm a mere 11 worms.
The world record of 567 worms was set by 10-year-old Sophie Smith in 2009.
