Goat appears to beg for mercy at butcher's stand
Touching footage has emerged from China of a pregnant goat appearing to beg for mercy in front of a butcher's stand.
In the video, captured in Songyuan, Jilin Province on August 13, the goat kneels before the butcher, appearing to beg for its life and that of its unborn kid.
A kind-hearted bystander saw the emotional scene and bought the goat from the butcher and now plans to send the animal to a special sanctuary.
