The Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki performed a unique concert in front of hundreds of spectators, which had to step down to Papafi Station of the metro which is under construction. The spectators realized the progress of the work and enjoyed music offered by talented artists. At first, the concert hall did not meet the usual specifications but in the end, the Orchestra adapted to the environment. The conductor of the Orchestra, Kleanthis Zaribas, commented: “The underground concert was for us as musicians such an experience. We faced difficulties with the wind instruments but we found the solution”. The event took place in Thessaloniki, Greece, September 8, 2017.
