Alleged drunk driver slams SUV into pole
An alleged drunk driver crashed his SUV into a traffic light pole in Weifang City in eastern China's Shandong Province at high speed.
The CCTV video, shot on January 20, shows an out-of-control car speeding into a traffic light pole and a piece of flying debris tripping over a cleaner standing in the middle of the road.
Other mobile phone video shows passersby using extinguishers to put out the fire, while the driver is seen lying on the ground - apparently asleep - after being carried out of the car.
He was sent to the hospital and he was not injured severely.
