Valentines day experience with Red Pandas

Buy video

Paradise Park at Hayle, Cornwall is selling Valentines "Panda Experience" with their cute Red Pandas. Seen here visitor Wendy and a keeper feeding the Pandas in their enclosure. The welfare of the Pandas is of paramount importance to the site, they worked closely with vets to ensure that these sessions were not stressful to the Pandas. If anything the experience actually helps the Pandas get used to being handled as they do need to be inspected regularly for health checks and before moving to other sites. The Pandas are free to come and go and it's completely upto them if they come down for the treats of sweet potato and parsnips. Money raised includes donation that goes to ‘PIT Red Panda Protected Forest’. The Red Panda Network is establishing the world’s first protected area dedicated to red pandas: the Panchthar-Ilam-Taplejung (PIT) Red Panda Protected Forest in eastern Nepal.
