Two giant pandas had an unexpected bump in China
This is the amusing moment two giant pandas suddenly bumped into each other in China.
Footage shows the adorable pair munching on bamboo sticks inside their enclosure in Chengdu, Sichuan province.
Moments later, the animals stood up at the same time and accidentally headbutted one another.
The impact caused them to spin around and end up sitting back-to-back for a moment before they slowly turned to face each other, looking visibly confused by what had just happened.
They then walked away, ambling off in different directions around the enclosure.
The country has heavily invested in panda conservation, establishing numerous nature reserves to protect their habitats and support breeding programs.
Pandas are a national symbol of China, representing peace and harmony. Their protection and prominence are closely tied to the country's pride and international image.
