A dog painted in orange and black to resemble a tiger was exhibited at the same zoo that featured 'panda dogs'.

The Qinhu Bay Forest Animal Kingdom had previously featured Chow Chow dogs as pandas and now showcased a 'wild cat' in Jiangsu, China.

Footage shows the canine walking in its enclosure, dyed in colours mimicking a tiger on January 24.

The zoo management said that dyeing the dogs had just been 'a gimmick,' although they claimed all the dogs had been dyed professionally and that there was no risk to their health.

The zoo had also reportedly coloured Chow Chow dogs to look like pandas, much like a park in Guangdong that allows visitors to see 'rare and exotic animals.'

The Guangdong Zoo had initially stated that they had not misled people, as they never claimed the animals were actual pandas, explaining instead that they were, in reality, 'panda dogs.' However, they eventually admitted to dyeing two Chow Chows.

On October 5, staff at the zoo in Zibo, Shandong, reportedly evicted the foxes from their enclosure to replace them with a pooch disguised as a panda.
