Skiathos Airport is awesome. I have never been so close to the action. Departing planes are just a few meters away and it feels like you could touch the wing of a Boeing 757 when it turns around directly in front of you. I caugt a very funny situation on camera. I placed a Go Pro camera behind the runway to film the people being blown away by the jetstream but suddenly a family who was obviously on the way to the beach parked its car directly behind a departing Boeing 757. the jeep wasn` t closed properly and a floating tire decided to make its own journey. A few seconds later the driver was very amoused by the fact that the floating tire was floating somewhere on the ocean which is directly behind the runway.
