Up Close with Penguins
It's fledgling time for the Gentoo penguins on Jougla Island. They are busy molting their baby fir and gaining their permanent features necessary for surviving in the cold waters all winter. The Antarctic Treaty protocol suggests visitors stay 3 meters from penguin wildlife, but these little fellows can't yet read and are quite curious. After trying to eat a hiking stick, this guy lets us know what he thinks!
