This is the chilling moment a driver is confronted with a terrifying apparition sitting in the road.

The motorists had been travelling with a friend when he spotted the scary figure sitting down in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

They stopped the car and quickly backed up before performing a u-turn and driving away in the opposite direction.

Bizarrely, the driver claims that he was ‘’spooked out’’ even more when the dash cam warnings lights appeared at the same time.

The eery footage was captured in the Bukit Tunku district of the city, which is said to be home to a haunted abandoned mansion.

The driver said some people believe it is a person sitting in the road waiting to rob them - but he’s convinced it is a ghost.
