Accident on Wareham Road, Poole.
Guy drove straight at me. It hurt a lot.
14th July 2016 3pm

I was returning home (Dorchester) from my grandfather who lives in Poole. I help him out frequently with his computer issues. I taught him to use emails and look up family history.
It was just me in the car thankfully.

I had a sore back initially and I got taken to Poole hospital (45 min wait for the ambulance) after several hours I was cleared with no obvious spine issues. The other driver was an aged man easily 70. He refused any medical help at the scene and I didn't speak to him much. The medical people were concerned about him but couldn't do anything. They were travelling alone.

I wasn't told why the man was going straight at me. I thought it was a medical reason because of his age but not sure. We were both breathalyzed at the scene and were both clear.

My car was a VW Golf TDI 2L. His was a vauxhall astra.

I am currently a student (Worcester University) studying Computing BSc at home. Will be looking at getting a full time job in IT after I finish this Summer. I live 20 mins north of Dorchester. My Grandfather lives in Poole which is why I was travelling there that day.

I am dealing with neck and shoulder pain still after almost 2 years after the crash. I go to Chiropractor every month (£34) which really helps it stops all of the pain but the knots and the stiffness and pain comes back after a week. I am still going through the personal injury claim. So no idea how much compensation I am going to get as it's an ongoing issue.
