Brutal mobile phone footage has emerged showing a group of masked hunt saboteurs armed with iron bars viciously attacking and knocking out a huntsmaster.
Mike Lane, Joint Master of the Tedworth Hunt, was set upon as he attempted to calm demonstrators who had been protesting during a meet.
He was knocked unconscious after being punched, kicked and spat on and was treated in hospital for concussion and several broken teeth.
Mike described how the attack happened at the end of a fractious day of confrontations during a drag hunt in Wiltshire.
"They followed us from the kennels that morning and during the day they were quite upset and there were a number of confrontations," he said.
