Debris from a Chinese rocket carrying satellites crashed down onto a town, causing a huge explosion on Wednesday.
China launched the Long March 2C rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Centre in Sichuan Province.
But according to reports the rocket's first stage fell away and crashed down in Fuquan County in southwestern Guizhou Province.
Video shows rocket debris falling down onto a village and then a ball of fire can be seen, with a huge plume of yellow smoke rising into the sky.
Villagers and those in the area had already been evacuated in advance and no casualties were reported.
