A barge collided with a dock on the Intercoastal Waterway in Perdido Key, Florida on Wednesday (June 27).

A video showed the huge commercial craft ploughing into the wooden dock and the sound of splintering wood.

According to the filmer, the barge was forced over to the side of the waterway by a "pleasure craft" which didn't give way.

My wife noticed a barge coming pretty close to the edge of the canal. She rushed out to get video just as the barge ran over the neighbor's (her parents) dock. This was a result of a non yielding pleasure craft when the barge was trying to go under the bridge in the background and then trying to a make a turn. The winds helped pushed the barge further to the north where the barge ultimately ran over the dock.
