Attic Fire in Garden City South 277 S Dorchester Road 8/19/2018
At around 4:30 this afternoon, the Franklin Square and Munson Fire Department was alerted to a fire inside the attic of a house in the central section of Garden City South. Upon arrival, a working fire was transmitted. Departments from West Hempstead and Lakeview responded. Nassau County Police Department and the Nassau County Police Emergency Ambulance Bureau responded as well. Units were up in about an hour. The Nassau County Fire Marshalls are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
