US, Los Angeles: Mid City Two-Story Apartment Fire
Los Angeles, United States - July 19, 2025 07/18/2025 11:21 pm GMT-0700 MID CITY, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to a reported structure fire on the 4900 block of West 20th Street. Firefighters arrived to find flames visible on the second story of a two-story apartment building. Crews quickly worked to extinguish the fire, which originated in a vacant unit. Unfortunately, the fire extended into the attic, causing damage to adjacent units. As a result, residents will not be able to return to their homes this evening. No injuries have been reported at this time, and the cause of the fire remains unknown.
