A nursing home has created their own version of the John Lewis Christmas ad - an adorable 'through the ages' video featuring their own residents and staff. This year the shop's advert features Sir Elton John and how his life changed when he was given a piano for Christmas, featuring snapshots of the singer throughout his life. But Springfield House Care Home has made their own version - featuring resident Jean Clews, 87, and her childhood dream of making her teddy fly. It shows 'Jean' aged six, 14, and in her 40s - played by staff and family - and then now, with staff finally helping her make her teddy bear fly, using helium balloons.
