In November, I went overseas to pursue a degree in culinary arts. My sister on the other hand, is in UK studying, Because of this, I feel like my parents would feel lonely as we were the only 2 children in the family and we went away from home to further our studies. I also really missed my family and my grandmother's cooking. So, I decided to go back to Brunei (home country) to give them a surprise visit for 3 days. My dad (the only person who knew I was coming back) helped me book a flight around 20th December 2018. I took Air Asia only had a hand carry luggage filled with my clothes. After I visited my mom, I decided to call my grandmother on my mom's cell. At first she didn't recognise me and when I finally told her who I was she thought my mom went all the way to KL to visit me. After I left, my grandmother called my mom back and asked am I really back in Brunei.
