This cat is clearly too cool for school – or for any of the monkeys that are trying to get its attention.

In the video filmed in Nelamangala, South India, three monkeys are seen approaching the cat in attempt to get it to play with them. However, the cat is wholly uninterested, sitting there unfazed and barely moving.

Residents of a colony in Nelamangala in South India are treated with frequent fights between a cat and a band of monkeys.

The monkeys torment the cat by trying to hit or pull its tail or limbs. Sometimes they tackle it alone or come in a group to chase the cat away.

But the cat sits unmoved watching their antics and refusing to budge even an inch.

“The monkeys look hesitant and run soon after making physical contact with the cat. But the cat does not react at all,” said D Mahesh, a local resident.

“It’s more of a friendly fight between them. I have never seen them trying to hurt each other,” he added.
