This dance originates from the Northwest Highlands of Vietnam, where it was performed to celebrate special events. Usually, four to six people hold two sticks of bamboo each and clap in a 4/4 rhythm while another 8 dance in and out of the sticks. If not careful and wrong, they can be pinned to the legs by bamboo sticks.
In the video, The women in traditional costumes of ethnic minorities perform the bamboo dance at high speed. They wore a tight skirt and performed the dance.
