The 53-year-old Palestinian Omar Hajajla; out of his conscious standing in front of his house in the village of Walaja, south of Jerusalem, surrounded by fear that the Israeli occupation will return and evacuate those who remain behind it besides their tryings to demolish a lot of the village’s houses.

The middle Wolja [Palestinian village] did not survive the Zionist gangs war during the Nakba of 1948, when its inhabitants, who survived the bullets, were abandoned under the barrage of bullets to live in their land within the West Bank, then the village has become two parts.

But Omar after the ambitions of the Israeli occupation exceeded the displacement , the separation wall, the demolition of houses, the confiscation of land and surrounded him by the Israeli settlers to isolate him and restrict his freedom with an iron gate erected at the entrance of his home. Omar’s steadfastness in his home is considered as a stabilizing for his right of land and protecting the lands and remains of his village.
