This beautiful drone footage catches a dolphin in elegant pursuit of a fish supper off America’s east coast.

The bottlenose dolphin was filmed gracefully traversing the waves and lolling on its back off the coast of Palm Beach, Florida, on May 14.

The intriguing marine behaviour was captured by photographer Ivy Yin, of Our Children’s Earth, a foundation which advocates on behalf of children vulnerable to pollution.

Ivy Yin said: “My drone has spent many hours in the air trying to capture this rarely seen behaviour.

“May is my favourite month to be in Florida as many residents on the east coast head back north leaving many beaches empty, making encounters like this even more special.”
