Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China of a motorist violently attacking a female bus driver after an altercation about right of way on a road in Hubei Province.

In the video, captured during the attack earlier this year, the driver of the Porsche can be seen exiting his vehicle after his car became trapped against the bus on a narrow street.

He then throws a container of food at the bus driver before proceeding to punch her multiple times in the face in a vicious attack, which lasted nine seconds.

According to local news reports, the 32-year-old bus driver suffered a broken nose and required four stitches to her face.

The motorist was arrested by police officers and charged with assault.
