A British Airways passenger has tweeted his shock after discovering what appears to be a small camera installed into a TV on the seat in front of him.

Good Morning Britain’s Senior Producer, Rav Vadgama, posted pictures on social media saying “Er, I think not @British_Airways sneaky cam”, before putting a black plaster over it.

He made the discovery while on a flight from Gatwick Airport to Orlando earlier.

Sharon Patrick tweeted: “Wow. I shall watch out for that!

Rav jokingly replied: “Always carry plasters.”

But a BA spokesperson said: “This is a sensor to help regulate brightness as the ambient light in the cabin changes through flight.”
