A small plane crash-landed right in the middle of a Rhode Island neighbourhood on Saturday afternoon.

Amazingly, the pilot was able to walk away without injury and with very little damage to the plane.

The aircraft came down in South Kingstown.

"I witnessed the plane attempt several passes to land in our small Rhode Island neighbourhood," said filmer Stacey Leasca

"I stepped outside to check the scene and videoed the plane’s approach. The plane then made a hard landing about .5 miles from where the video was shot."
