Search for missing beachcraft bonanza, american plane in canada
Canadian search and rescue teams from Trenton Ontario, Bagotville Quebec and Greenwood Nova Scotia search the sky near Senneterre Quebec as an airplane and its pilot went missing Monday night.
The Beechcraft Bonanza 35 (N3804X) took off from Oshkosh in the United States at 19:56 UTC . According to the Canadian . According to a statement from National Defense the airplane was due to land in Danbury Connecticut. According to the release from the Department of National Defense the aircraft was heading north to divert a big storm following the route planned by the pilot. An investigation is underway.
The plane, which had only one person on board, would have disappeared from radar near Senneterre QC. The missing aircraft is registered in the United States.
The Sûreté du Québec police and Canadian Coast guard are joining the search.
