Stand With Kashmir Protest outside India House in London
A Stand With Kashmir "emergency vigil" protest was held on Monday evening (August 5th) outside India House in central London.
Demonstrators gathered to express their support for Kashmir just hours after the Indian government stripped Kashmir of its Indian-administered special status.
The Government of Pakistan tweeted "India has targeted the basic rights of people of Kashmir by the revocation of Article 370 in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir" with the hashtag #StandWithKashmir.
Mehbooba Mufti, Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, tweeted it was the "darkest day in Indian democracy".
