Snowfall has reached major cities in north India's Jammu and Kashmir state, causing improvements in the region's air quality following disastrous pollution in nearby regions.

The cities of Srinagar and Kupwara were affected on November 7, and the snowfall is expected to lower the particulate matter count in the air in the region.
