Fuming over the removal of illegal structures, a strongman brazenly tried to run a JCB over a dutiful woman village head leading an anti-encroachment drive in West Indian state of Rajasthan.


The incident that happened on August 24 when accused Baga Ram started reconstructing the structure within two days after the Jalore district's Mandwala village panchayat administration had demolished them.


At around 11 am when village head Rekha Devi arrived at the site and asked them to stop construction work. Furious over the ‘recurring interruption by a woman’, Ram ordered the JCB drive to hit Devi’s car.

When Devi came in front of the vehicle and dared the driver to attack her. Much to her surprise, the driver didn’t hesitate and started menacingly moving towards her. As she tried to push back, the driver lifted the earthmover front loader at least 10ft off the ground leaving the hapless woman hanging from it.

The earthmover then drops the woman off the ground. Embarrassed and hurt, Devi picks up a stone and, in a fit of rage, tries to hit the driver. In the nick of time, one of her associates takes the brick off her hand and tries to diffuse the tension.
