A small sparrow was caught on camera flying in to chase off a much larger chicken that was threatening its nest in rural Vietnam.

According to the filmer, who lives in Thanh Hoa, he heard a noise at the front of the house and discovered a sparrow was attacking the chicken.

Eventually, the chicken was driven off by the small bird's determination and left the sparrow's nest alone.

The footage was captured on July 2018.
