US dad left in tears after soldier surprises his family on Christmas Day weeks before deployment
A Florida dad had this emotional reaction after seeing his son for the first time in five months after he made a surprise visit on Christmas Day last year (2019).
As the soldier, named Luis after his dad, enters the house in Bradenton his father, overcome with emotion, can't hold back the tears and walks into the kitchen.
Luis, who is to be deployed in February, begins greeting the rest of the San Juan family before making his way to his father, who he then shares an emotional embrace with.
Luis' sister, Rachel who filmed this video, told Newsflare: "We haven’t seen my brother since his graduation from Basic Combat Training in July. He’s getting deployed in February and surprised our dad on Christmas morning.
"My dad’s not really a crier, so seeing him react with such happiness instantly brought tears to my eyes. It was a really heartwarming moment."
