Powerful waves created by Storm Dennis have started to pound the south-west of the UK.

Massive swell swamped the harbour wall at Sennen Cove today (February 15th) in Cornwall and fishermen had to haul their boats up into the car park.

Most of the UK has wind warnings in place as storm Dennis is due to get worse on Sunday (February 16th)

Powerful waves created by Storm Dennis have started to hit the south west of the UK, completely submerging the harbour wall at Sennen Cove. Fishermen have had to haul their boats up in to the car park to avoid the giant swells, which are big enough for the RNLI to issue warnings to beach goers and wave watchers visiting Cornwall for the half term. Most of the UK has wind warnings in place, as storm Dennis is due to get worse tomorrow. Ideal conditions for photographers, though, as they battle the elements to get that perfect shot.
