Riya Paladia, a gymnastics and yoga practitioner from a small village Gaulapar near Haldwani city in Uttarakhand state, recently stunned many with her amazing flexibility and speed, performing the tough Niralamba Poorna Chakrasana yoga position 21 times in one minute. In 2017, the record was broken two times, once by a 13-year-old girl who performed the move 15 times in one minute, and again by an 8-year-old who did it 17 times. Riya has set the new record with her 21 contortions in one minute.

It requires a lot of practice and control to do this posture as it Considered to be the toughest yoga contortions. But Riya performed without any difficulties and achieved the new target of 21 contortions in one minute. She set this new record on 20th Jan and received the acknowledgments from Golden Book of Records.

Normally Riya trains around 3 to 4 hours a day and during the school holidays, she practices around 7 to 8 hours. She is training hard to set a new record in April. Riya's dream is to win a gold medal in gymnastics in the Olympics.Her Coach Amit Saxena giving her special training to achieve this Olympics dream.
