Torrential rain accompanied by a hailstorm has lashed the streets of the north Indian state of Rajasthan.

The incident occurred at Kotkhawada of Chaksu subdivision on March 04, 2020.

The video shows hailstones descending from the sky whitewashing the streets across the state.

According to locals, gloomy weather and strong winds prevailed for quite sometime before the hailstorm begun.

Reportedly, the storm left rabi crops devastated in the south-western part of the city.

The storm left life at Kotkhawada, Kadera, Achalpura, Haripura and other rural areas stagnant for several hours.

The state has witnessed a stark climate change in recent times.
