After saving a bird from being a lunch meal of our apartment cats, the poor feather friend just died in my hands.

Because of covid19, lockdown and no jobs, people on our neighboorhood including us are budgeting our daily food. We made sure not to waste food to save money and resources till there's job again after the lifting of lockdown. With this, the cats on our area who are pampered with leftover food were left also hungry because everybody are on budget mode. To veer away from hunger, these cats hunt for birds to eat.

One unlucky bird was a victim, so while the unfortunate animal was trapped inside the cat's lair, I gently remove the struggling bird in the mouth of cat, trying to save its life.

Planning to help the bird recover and once it regain its strenght it will be released again.

While on my palms, the feather friend died... I wish I am earlier on the scene to save it...
