This is the heartwarming moment a student stranded at an airport in the Philippines plays his violin in front of the hotel where he is staying to give thanks and prayers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Filmed on March 26, college pupil Orlando Ladia Jr., 19, was one of the people stranded at Clark Airport in Pampanga province when the travel restrictions were imposed after the coronavirus lockdown.

Luckily for the teenager, a kind-hearted hotel owner has offered free rooms for them until the quarantine is over. In the video on March 26, he plays the song "People Need the Lord" in front of the hotel steps that accommodated the stranded passengers.

He said: "I dedicate the song to all who are suffering because of the virus. I think it was better that I stayed here. It would have been harder for me if I spent the quarantine in my dormitory in Manila. Here we are giving free food and a room to stay in. Everyone is so kind."

Orlando was supposed to come home to General Santos City, southern Philippines but was stranded together with 200 people. The Mansion Hotel in Clark opened its doors to those who were stranded after the quarantine since March 19.
